The Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) section in the bottom left corner of the screen not only contains a vertical card compass, but many other useful pieces of  information.

Magnetic Compass – Your magnetic heading is displayed in a vertical compass card format.  It works just like a gyro, except it never needs adjusting.

Heading bug – A yellow heading bug is shown on edge of the compass.  The outer knob on the display moves the heading bug… spinning the knob fast makes it zoom around the display.  Spinning it slowly moves it one degree at a time.  The autopilot can be directed to follow the heading bug if desired.

Ground Track  – Your actual direction of travel over the ground is calculated from GPS and displayed digitally in the upper left corner.  It is also displayed as a blue arrow on the compass card.

Wind speed and direction  - When you are moving through the air, the current wind speed and direction is shown in the upper left corner.  A yellow “wind arrow” graphically shows you which way the wind is blowing in relation to the plane.  (The direction displayed is in magnetic degrees, not true degrees as is found on a wind aloft report.)

Two engine instruments are displayed digitally in the lower left corner.  You can choose anything you want, however RPM and MP are common.

Current waypoint – The waypoint identifier is displayed in the upper right corner.  Below that is the distance to the waypoint, direction, and the estimated time remaining, shown in hours and minutes.

GPS Waypoint arrow – A green arrow points in the direction to your selected GPS waypoint.  Match the track and waypoint arrows, and you’ll fly straight to your destination.  What could be easier, except maybe turning on the autopilot and letting EFIS/One fly there for you.

Virtual VOR - Even if you don't have a VOR installed in your plane, you can pretend like you do using the Virtual VOR feature.  You can select a waypoint (VOR, airport, NDB) and a radial and the HSI will display an arrow and deviation needle to show your aircraft position in relation to the radial.  You'll also see distance to the waypoint as a bonus!
