Default Late but Great!

I just stumbled accross this posting area of the BM boards and decided I would share an experience that I had with them about mid 2007, just prior to getting my Glasair signed-off.

While trying to calibrate my airspeed on my generation 1 (purchased sometime around 2001) EFIS Lite, I discovered a weird glitch in the way the calibration tables were handling my inputs. Long story short, I pulled the unit and sent it to BMA for service.

After about a week, Greg decided that the unit had something wrong with a sensor. Instead of replacing the sensor with another out-dated sensor, Greg upgraded the complete internals of my EFIS Lite.

I'm not sure why Greg did this next part in the story, all that I can figure is because it took a couple weeks to complete the repair.

Upon completion of the repairs I received an e-mail from Greg stating that my EFIS Lite was back in the mail to me and functionioning like a champ. When I asked how much I owed, he stated "nothing". I didn't know what to say. You can bet that if I get to meet Greg and the gentleman that did the repairs, I will buy them each a case (or a 5th) of their favorite brew.

Thanks for all the help guys!
